The old stone is a truly valuable community jewel. It should be treasured!

This community is so vitally important to Central Oregon.
Although I am new to The Old Stone Church; I have been a long time seeker of Higher Awareness and also like minded people who are actively creating a healthy and spiritual life.
Each day is a new opportunity to fill our mind, heart and soul with positive and Divine creative energy.
Divine Love is a powerful healer, and I believe is the answer to world peace. Through spiritual awakening of our own heart we in turn are a walking source of Divine Love each moment of every day. Each second that we are in tune with our higher self, the Love that radiates through us is a vehicle to help others awaken to not only what lies dormant within themselves, but in the bigger picture this awakening will create world peace in such a natural way.
There is no way to Love; Love IS the way!
I am so excited about this community here at The Old Stone Church because I sense such a powerful and wonderful energy of light and love here. I am so grateful to have found this beautiful church through friends.
Peace~love and Light~

What does conscious mean? How are we conscious? And the inverse..What is Unconscious? etc...My perception is that this blog, The OSC and this website in general is the sole platform for "conscious community" in Bend. It seems important for "we the conscious" to make "critical mass" a priority. There is a common urge for like mindedness around issues of greenliving, sustainability, soulful searching, happiness, mindful materialism, political alertness, and spiritual practice. Can we tolerate our differences enough to build some heat in the Bend "community". What can catalyze us to recognize one another, share space-physical, temporal, and mental so that a substantial (ha-let's not be too Buddhist) entity of mindful living, joy in the work, in conscious community forms.--Phil

If everyone is right, then no-one is wrong. Think about it... That's a pretty crazy way to look at things.

The truth can easily be obfusticated or outright discarded when it is mixed with a bunch of lies. Salad bar religion is not only foolish, it is dangerous.

Hi all,

I've been meaning to check out some activities here, especially the kirtan group, bhakti-yoga events on fridays. This seems like a great community for consciousness raising.

Any help or comments appreciated!
